The night before, I was so excited sampai gigih laa mengelurakan seewing machine and dapat laa jahit mini skirt Iffah. :) and esoknyer before pegi ke playgroup sempat jahit small tote bag utk Izzah from the same fabric.
Dari siang lagi I dah brief Iffah and Ariff pasal playgroup diorang.. what to expect.. how to react and behave basically.. and why I didnt purchase any school stuff for them as their cousin which is same age with Iffah alreay enrolled for a playschool... Siap I berlakon jadi teacher and tanye What is your name? Who knows blabla...? I encouraged them to respond to the teacher.. but I dont expect too much.. tapi mmg excited laa kan.. dah laa 2-2 anak skali masuk.\ playgroup..
So the next day, we reached around 1130 am but hubby said it was already 1140 as he saw to the room's watch. Im a bit frustrated to be kinda late for their first day on playgroup! but we were the second kids-parent which showed up. let Iffah and Ariff salam with their teacher and the other parent and new friend which are Yusof and Amin. the playgroup supposed to have 10 kid but only 8 present. in fact, my colleague aka my partner in office also sent his daughter to this playgroup.. lohh.. memule mcm weird tapi lps tu.. ok laa
The session started with bacaan doa and Al-Fatihah, singing and dancing, then get-to-know to each other. How was my kids doing?? Ariff was so active.. good respond to Teacher Farah.. even Ariff still baby-talk.. Iffah was so shy as she only shut her mouth and keep on staring to other friend and Teacher Farah.. since Iffah has been partner with me and Ariff with Abah.. Iffah just stared at Teacher farah when she asked her name.. at that time.. Im not frust with her but trying to understand her more.. maybe she kind of "lambat panas punye orang" I hugged her from back.. rub her back.. kiss her.. when teacher say sit on the spot or stand on the spot.. I have to lift her body up to stand and pull her body down to sit.. and keep on say she did a good job considering she let me controlled her body to do as per instructed. ok that was only happen in 15 minutes I guess!!! later when Teacher farah handed a bean bag.. ok Iffah sudah naek syeikh sampai kn die throw the bean bag smpi siling.. dgn terlompat2 pusing sume!!! YEah.. thats my girl..
Ariff pulak mmg ok.. I think he is the smartest boy in the class.. ahahhah perasan x.. since they didnt get ALIMKIDS shirt, I pakaikan Ariff kemeja long sleeve with jeans and Iffah kemeja short sleeve with jeans.. Ariff sgt behave and under control.. die followed order very well from the beginning.. so nothing to be worried..
There was an art session which kids are given chance to use scissor and glue by themselves and of course under full supervision from their parent.. Iffah yang sudah naek syeikh itu mmg cepat aje nak trim the paper plate .. I just keep my eyes on her.. In fact.. actually Iffah and Ariff has been using scissor before with my permission. They made a streamer from paper plate. They also sing and dance with their own streamer too!! Cool ek? This week they learn about colour.. I managed to take some videos from their first session and I tell you they are never boring to watch the video over and over again!
In the end of the session, they sing I love You from Barney theme and Goodbye song from Out Of The Box sambil tepuk kat lantai.. and recite doa and Surah Al-Asr. Teacher Farah was so sporting and cheerful person.. I think she is the one who song Bagaikan Puteri but hubby x perasan laa pulak.. ade sape tau ke?? We are looking forward for the next session!!!
Alhamdulillah, I think we made a right choice to enrolled my kids to the playgroup for a social skill purpose and to be exposed to other environment. Alhamdulillah, I chose AlimKids for their playgroup as the teacher also islamic .. wearing a good attire.. and very pleasant.. She also remind kids about our Creator, Allah.. who create us.. shadah together with kids LailahailallahMuhammadurrasulullah.. its just same like our approach at home.. yes.. I am not the best parent.. but I believe all parent will try to do the best for their kids, right?
I thought I will get thebteary eyes on the day but suprisingly Im not.. the best part I didnt realize it until my bedtime.. heh adios!
